of phrases that should be outlawed

Saturday, December 5th, 2009

have you ever been chatting with a friend when, all of a sudden, they say one little phrase or word that is so annoying or out of context or superfluous, that you just tune out the rest of the conversation while you grind your teeth hard enough so that you don’t tell him/her to shut up? well, maybe i’m just really touchy, but this happens quite often. with the help of two friends, sophia and roxie, i’ve compiled a list of some of those phrases that just really grind our gears.

readers, feel free to leave a comment with a phrase that you absolutely hate. (more…)

(i later learned that one of them was deep-in-the-closet Sal Romano and the other was the so-beautiful-it-hurts-to-look-at-much-like-a-lunar-eclipse Don Draper.) in that minute or so that i didn’t change the channel, i guess something just hit me because before i knew it, i was spending way too much money at the itunes store, downloading every episode of the first season, and all the episodes i had missed from the second.
